| Abstract | ||
| This paper attempts to shed more light on one of the pillars of literature in its popular aspect, represented in the “traditional folk proverbs” that constitute the most important part of this literature, based on their situation with children, “how they grow up with them, and how they live on their tongues”; Assuming that children are the most important inputs to culture and the element in promoting its sustainable development, If we want to be contemporary, we must be traditional. Accordingly, there is no creativity without heritage, and no identity without heritage. The main problem does not seem to be whether this heritage is too little or too much, or what is in it. But in the point of view from which we deal with this heritage, and through the approach that presents this heritage; The basic issue does not stop at the limits of the literal recall of the heritage text only; But heritage must reveal the living reality, revealing the past with its positives, and the present with its negatives at the same time, As well as through the values that are hoped to be developed in children. Popular heritage intersects with children's literature in many aspects, and perhaps the availability of the elements of story and drama, It is considered one of the factors that push those interested and specialized in the field of children's theater arts to invest in this heritage and expand its circle of activity and events in the field of children's literature, This is what this scientific paper aims to do; In order to contribute to studying the best methods for the perpetuation of this heritage and its proper use within the chain of theatrical creativity, in order to gain its presence, legitimacy, and appropriate cultural status, and to facilitate the task of contacting and communicating with it permanently for new generations | ||
