| الملخـص: جاء هذا البحث بعنوان: (دور مركز الأزهر للترجمة في مواجهة الترجمات العبرية لمعاني القرآن)، ليعرض الترجمات العبرية لمعاني القرآن التي قام بها اليهود، أو بالأحرى قام بها المستشرقون اليهود، وأظهرت أهدافهم الاستشراقية من وراء تلك الترجمات، وقام البحث على تحليل مقدمات المترجمين اليهود ليظهر غايتهم الخبيثة من وراء أعمالهم، حيث جرت المحاولات الأولى لترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة العبرية بشكل جزئي في العصر الوسيط وجاءت على مسارين. الأول: مسار غير مباشر، وذلك من خلال ترجمة كتابات المفكرين والفلاسفة المسلمين في الأندلس إلى اللغة العبرية، حيث كانت هذه الكتب زاخرة بالعديد من الاستشهادات القرآنية مثل كتب الإمام "الغزالي" وكتب "ابن رشد". والثاني: مسار مباشر، وذلك ضمن كتابات الجدل الديني للرد على الإسلام والطعن فيه. ومما ساعدهم على ذلك علمهم التام باللغة العربية التي نالوا في دولتها أسمى المعاملة، حتى وصلت ترجمات اليهود للقرآن إلى ترجمات كاملة. لينتقل البحث لإبراز دور شيخ الجامع الأزهر الشريف الدكتور أحمد الطيب في مواجهة هذه الترجمات من خلال أقسام اللغة العبرية بجامعة الأزهر، ودور مركز الأزهر للترجمة في التصدي لذلك. The Role of Al- Azhar Center for Translation in Confronting the Hebrew Translations of the Meanings of the Holy Qur’an By: Ibrahim Tharwat Haddad Afia Ph.D. in Jewish Studies and History of Religions Faculty of Languages and Translation Azhar University Abstract This research paper is entitled: "The Role of Al-Azhar Center for Translation in Confronting the Hebrew Translations of the Meanings of the Holy Qur’an". The paper demonstrates the Hebrew translations of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an as performed by Jews, or rather performed by Jewish orientalists. The research paper has revealed the orientalist goals beyond these translations. The paper has analyzed the introductions of Jewish translators to reveal the malicious intentions beyond their works. The early attempts to translate the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into Hebrew were partially performed in the medieval era along two directions: the first was an indirect way through which they translated the writings of Muslim thinkers and philosophers of Andalusia into Hebrew since their books abound in many Qur’anic citations such the books of Imam Al- Ghazali and Ibn Rushd. The second was a direct way through the writings of religious controversy to serve as both a response to Islam and an attack against it. Being completely knowledgeable of Arabic language helped them to do so to the states where they received the best treatment, to the extent that the Jews managed to introduce complete translations of the Holy Qur’an. Next, the research paper has highlighted the role of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Dr/ Ahmed Al-Tayeb in confronting those translations aided by the department of Hebrew language within Azhar University as well as the role of the Al-Azhar Center for Translation.
