| Children who need to spend time in a hospital environment for any reason—whether as patients or as visitors to family and friends—can feel psychologically stressed. Entering a hospital or any unfamiliar environment can be overwhelming for adults, let alone children and adolescents. Therefore, every effort must be made to make healthcare environments friendly, welcoming, and child-centered in healthcare facilities. The quality of healthcare facilities is critical for adults, but it is even more important when the patients are children. The physical environment can profoundly affect the mind, psyche, and body of a child, whether a visitor or a resident. Interior design plays an important role in creating the social and psychological environment for hospital patients, in addition to the physical environment. In recent years, there has been growing interest in studying the impact of the physical environment in healthcare facilities on patients, their families, and staff. This research will focus on compiling design elements that influence the needs of patients and their families and developing a scientific framework for evidence-based design standards in children's hospitals. The aim of this research is to clarify the psychological needs of children in hospitals and the interior design elements that can support the hospital environment, which in turn achieves better health outcomes and supports the child and their family psychologically. The research adopted an inductive approach, presenting theories and experimental studies that have proven the link between a particular design element and its psychological impact on children. It also established general standards that should be carefully followed in design decisions for children's hospitals. The research concludes by identifying the psychological needs of children in hospitals, the design elements that can support these needs, and establishing standards that help designers create a friendly hospital environment with a positive impact on children. الأطفال الذين يحتاجون لقضاء بعض الوقت في بيئة مستشفى لأي سبب من الأسباب - سواء كمرضى أو كزوار للعائلة والأصدقاء - يمكن أن يشعروا بالضغط النفسي، قد يكون دخول مستشفى أو أي بيئة غير مألوفة أمرًا شاقًا للكبار ناهيك عن الأطفال واالمراهقين، لذا يجب بذل كل جهد ممكن لجعل بيئات الرعاية الصحية صديقة ومرحبة وتركز علي إحتياجات الأطفال في مباني الرعاية الصحية تعتبر جودة مرافق الرعاية الصحية بالغة الأهمية بالنسبة للكبار ولكنها أكثر أهمية عندما يكون المرضى من الأطفال، فإن المحيط المادي يمكنه التأثير بعمق على عقل و نفسية و جسد الطفل سواء كان زائراً أو مقيما،ً و يلعب التصميم الداخلي دورًا مهمًا في تهيئة البيئة الاجتماعية والنفسية للمرضى في المستشفيات بالإضافة إلى البيئة المادية، و في السنوات الأخيرة تزايد الإهتمام بدراسة تأثير البيئة المادية في مرافق الرعاية الصحية علي المرضي و أسرهم و العاملين، سيهتم هذا البحث بتجميع العناصر التصميمية المؤثره علي إحتياجات المريض و أسرته و تحقيق هيكل علمي لمعايير التصميم المبني علي أدلة في مستشفيات الأطفال. الهدف من البحث هو توضيح الإحتياجات النفسية للطفل في المستشفي و العناصر التصميمية الداخلية القادره علي دعم البيئة الإستشفائية لتلبية و التي بدورها تحقق نتائج صحية أفضل و تدعم الطفل و أسرته نفسي ا،ً و إعتمد البحث المنهج الإستقرائي بعرض النظريات و الدراسات التجريبية التي أثبتت الصلة بين عنصر تصميمي ما و تأثيره النفسي علي الطفل و الوصول لمعايير عامة يجب الحرص علي إتباعها في القرارات التصميمية الخاصة بمستشفيات الأطفال . و يخلص البحث إلي تحديد الإحتياجات النفسية للطفل في المستشفي و العناصر التصميميه التي من الممكن ان تدعم هذه الإحتياجات و التوصل لمعايير تساعد المصمم علي خلق بيئة مستشفي ودودة و ذات تأثير إيجابي علي الطفل . | ||
